The ultimate goal of this game, is to pick 6 players from the overall number of players participating in each event based on a general points system. Points are assigned to the players based on their official world rankings at the time of each major. Golfers who miss the cut will have their scores adjusted according to the average score of the field for that day. This way, golfers who play average or better over the weekend can not lose ground to golfers who miss the cut. If the average score is 75 on a par 72, all golfers who missed the cut will be recorded as +3 for that day. We will always round up, so anything from 74.01 to 75.00 will be a +3. * Last year we had our first major with a field average under par on a Saturday. It is important to note that the  "field" is all golfers selected in our pool, not the entire field in the tournament. Because the average score came in under par, we actually had a missed cut penalty of even par. It's in the rules this year because it actually happened, but it will probably never come up again. Missed cuts are usually penalized much more, but it all depends on how our field scores on the weekend. If they're not picked, they do not exist. In addition to the Adjusted Cut Number, a 1 shot penalty will be given to any player missing the cut.  Some years, the weather and courses are perfect, meaning a missed cut score will not be such a brutal penalty. That was the case in 2015. Last year, the penalty for missed cuts was a little more severe. It varies year after year, as you can see by past years winning scores. This year we have Bethpage Black, Pebble Beach, and Royal Portrush. As always, scoring will depend on the weather.   If you think the missed cut scores will be low, I suggest looking at the history of these historic courses hosting majors. Missed cuts should be more penalized this year for sure.

If a golfer you've selected withdraws or is DQ'd, he will get whatever his score was at the time of WD or DQ, plus he will be subject to a prorated adjusted cut for any rounds of less than 18 holes, always rounding up. We try to let everyone know about any withdrawals, but sometimes they happen at the last minute. If you see that one of your picks has withdrawn prior to his opening tee time, you can exchange him for another player by emailing the new player to us that still fits that 300 roster total. If he's teed off, it's too late.

Tie Breakers....First Tie Break is the least number of golfers that miss cut. Second Tie Break is entrants who have the winning golfer on roster. After that, it's a tie!

If one of your golfers is involved in a playoff, scores on the extra holes do not count. The only benefit that can occur in a playoff is if your golfer wins it, it will help you win the second tie break.
